Vas Defrans at Cinespace Hollywood

Last night I was lucky enough to make it out to Camerata Hollywood at Cinespace. It was my first time making it out to this venue although it has a lot going on. I definitely enjoyed the mixture of live music, djs, and art. Vas Defrans tore up the stage with a high energy mix …

Firstly, Happy New Year! Today was spent hiking around The Gabrielino Trail and checking out Sturtevant Falls. The trailhead is in the middle of The Big Santa Anita Canyon. This weekend was spent dodging rain drops and this week won’t be any different. The weather forecasts has plenty of storms for the upcoming week. Have to keep a look out for some mudslides or fresh powder up on the mountainside. Here are some photos from a rainy and windy Griffith Observatory.

USC vs. UF @The Swamp

It was great to get home last weekend and reconnect with friends and family. I was going to say “old” friends and family but thats really not the case is it. The only disappointment of the weekend would be The Florida Gators getting rocked at the Swamp by The Gamecocks. I had great seats right …

Textbook Recovery Day

Spent Friday at Taft High School in the Valley boxing up and organizing textbooks. It was great to see how quickly our team of 8 could reorganize and move books. The morning started off at LAUSD HQ at Beaudry. We were informed that the school district looses something like 10 million dollars in books each …

BOMB THREAT!!

There was a bomb threat across the street from my apartment and just down the block from my school. Lots of squad cars and police lines to cross to get back to school after lunch. I had to walk around to the back entrance to get in but made it safely. No Worries.
